    depends on the book/author. I will read something new and go, meh, it was alright once. but the books i own are the ones i will reread. of course it is easier to get them at the library or in ebook form first, requires less room than second hand books and cheaper than buying them new.

    I like Robert Heinlein, Stephen R. Donaldson, Patricia A. McKillip, Mary Stewart, Andre Norton to mention a few authors. Just finished the latest book in Marko Kloos Frontline Series: Points of Impact, a sci-fi military series.

    Working on two non-fiction books. One by Garrett M. Graff, Raven Rock: The Story of the U.S. Government’s Secret Plan to Save Itself–While The Rest of Us Die. Having grown up and served during the cold war it is an interesting look at both how our government planned to survive and the reason for much of what I did as a young enlisted person.  Also Colin Woodard’s book the Lobster Coast. Something that should probably be required reading for anyone moving to or rather moving from away to the state of Maine.
