Project 1: Facility
We are very grateful to one anonymous donor who has greatly facilitated our purchase of 27 Main Street, Prospect Harbor, Maine. There are also expenses in making renovations and updates to the building as we move toward the creation of the additional space.
Project 2: Accessibility
Dorcas Plus now has an accessibility ramp.
Project 3: Cabinetry and Furnishing
Dorcas Plus is a multi-functional space for the community. We hope to offer classes, will have a mobile kitchen, have movie nights, Attic Treasure Sale events and more. Storage and shelving will be installed as well as seating and an inviting environment.
Project 4: Special Interest Areas
Dorcas Plus will feature many opportunities for meeting, learning, gathering, exploring.
Project 5: Community Garden & Edible Landscaping
The grounds of both the Dorcas Library & Dorcas Plus are intended to be part of the active learning and community space.
